Tofino-Hiking Trails / POI

1st Street Dock

Great views of the Tofino Harbour.
Nice spot to catch a Sunset.

Big Tree Trail

Trail on Meares Island.
Access this Trail by Water Taxi (10 minute trip from Tofino) or travel by Kayak / Canoe.

Cougar Annie's Garden

The garden consists of a five-acre clearing, criss-crossed with over two kilometres of meandering pathways and dotted with outbuildings that once housed goats and chickens.

Lone Cone Mountain

You need to make use of a Tofino Water-Taxi to Meares Island.
A 3 hour uphill Hike to the summit of Lone Cone.

MUP (Multi Use Path)

Path runs from Cox Bay to Tofino.
Expect to see walkers, cyclists, joggers, dogs, skateboards, roller skates etc on the path.

Nuu-Chah-Nulth Trail

Trail starts at the Kwisitis Visitor Centre.
2.5 km one way, Beach access, Some Stairs

Radar Hill Lookout

Lookout in Tofino's Pacific Rim National Park. (wheelchair accessible)
The short trip to the top is rewarded with panoramic views of Tofino and the Clayoquot Sound.

Rainforest Trail

Trails A and B
Distance: each trail is a 1 km loop, No beach access, Many short flights of stairs

Schooner Cove Trail

Located in Tofino's Pacific Rim National Park
Beach access, Distance: 1 km one way, Long flights of stairs.

Shorepine Bog Trail

This is old growth coastal temperate rainforest with a twist.
(wheelchair accessible)

Tofino Lighthouse Trail

Start this trail on Tonquin Beach.
Trail Difficulty: Medium (steep parts), Incredible Viewpoints of the Pacific Ocean.

This Beautiful View Point / Park is right Downtown Tofino on Main Street.
Connect with Tofino's Waterfront, observe the spectacular Mountain Views of the Clayoquot Sound.

Walk The Wild Side Trail

Trail packs an awesome array of wilderness experiences along the entire 11km. The trail is located on the wild west coast of Flores Island, a region steeped in the history of the Ahousaht people.

Ucluelet-Hiking Trails / POI

Halfmoon Bay Trail

1.7 km one way from Willowbrae parking lot. Beach access, Long flights of stairs

Wild Pacific Trail (Big Beach)

Access this Trail near Big Beach. 4.5 to 5.5 km this section begins at the intersection of Marine and Matterson Road in Ucluelet.

Wild Pacific Trail (Brown's Beach & Artist Loop)

5.5 to 8.4 km. The parking lot just past Black Rock Resort on Marine Drive is your starting point. Turn right to follow a short section of forested trail near a new road.

Wild Pacific Trail (Lighthouse Loop)

2.7 km Loop. Amphtrite Point Lighthouse. Start at the new parking lot at the 0 km point, midway on Coast Guard Road in Ucluelet.

Wild Pacific Trail (Terrace Beach Interpretive Trail)

The trail is located above an ancient First Nations canoe beach. Along the hiking trail, interpretive signs about First Nations history and plant identification signs can be found.
