Wild Pacific Trail Ucluelet - Lighthouse Loop.
2.7 km Loop. (approx. 1 hour)
Amphtrite Point Lighthouse.
Start at the new parking lot at the 0 km point, midway on Coast Guard Road in Ucluelet. Walk through a short section of mossy rainforest to a trail on your right. This scenic path traces the edge of the coastline past dramatic views of Barkley Sound and Amphitrite Lighthouse. Stay on the coastline trail which will loop back to the parking lot.
This trail hugs the Rugged Coastline offering extensive views of the Pacific Ocean, Barkley Sound and the Broken Group Islands.
Walking along this trail you will have many opportunities to check out the different view points, experience the power of the surge channels, watch pounding waves hit the shoreline or take in a beautiful sunset.
Wildlife such as Sea Lions , Whales, Otters and Eagles can be seen.
