interested in.

In Tofino there are many types of fish species to catch. However most
of these chances are based on where you are fishing and when you are
there.

Wardo's experienced sportfishing techniques have been known to be
effective even in the off-season which contribute to our reputation
for catching pacific salmon, enormous halibut and even bottom dwellers
like lingcod. During these excursions it is very common to see
wildlife such as sea otters, porpoises, eagles and even whales.

About Us:
Dave has been around the ocean his whole life. As a young boy born and raised in Victoria Dave was fortunate enough that his parents owned a boat. As a family they spent every summer on the boat either at the marina or out cruising all over the South Vancouver Island coastline. Watching his father effortlessly catch salmon, ling cod, and other species gave Dave the passion to one day do it himself!

Once Dave was old enough he bought his first 16 foot boston whaler. This is where he taught himself to respect the power of the ocean while angling through the waters of Sooke in this small vessel. Not satisfied, Dave then started going offshore from Port Renfrew and Bamfield. It was at that time he had the feeling of the real rugged west coast in all it's beauty and power. He then realized that this was his passion that he must pursue!! Dave has spent hundreds of hours in the last 3 years on the coast of Ucluelet and Tofino and is eager to show his guests the time of their lives!!
