Standup paddle boarding (SUP) originated from early Polynesian
heritage and is now the fastest growing water sport on the planet.
One stands on a board similar to a surfboard and uses a paddle to move
through the water.
This sport, done both in surf and on flat waters, is not usually considered an extreme sport and is far less challenging than surfing.
People of all types and experiences are enjoying SUP'ing for its relation to surfing, ease of progression, fitness benefits and soundless access to beautiful waterways, evoking a fulfilling sense of nature immersion.
SUP provides a full body workout and great core strengthening while promoting connection to nature.

The guides at Tofino Paddle Surf are lifelong locals of Tofino, water sport and outdoor fitness specialists, with over 40 years combined experience in ocean sports, teaching and guiding.

We are located at 1119 Pac Rim Hwy, Tin Wis Best Western Resort - MacKenzie Beach.

Summer Hours: We are open 7 days a week for Tofino SUP Rentals, instruction, SUP Tours and retail 9am – 7pm.
