Two 65' Transport Canada Safety-Certified cruisers - suitable for all ages - offer comfortable, heated indoor seating, upper and lower decks, restroom, snack bar, liquor license, and plenty of room for up to 49 passengers to walk around to view whales from different vantage points. Free coffee, tea and hot chocolate too! We have high-speed zodiac-style vessels for those wanting more excitement in their adventure! Over 40 experienced, west coast residents make up Jamie's crew each season. Vessel operators are certified with SVOP, Marine Emergency Duties, Marine First Aid and GMDSS Radio. In addition, our large vessel skippers have min. 60 ton Masters tickets. Our crew provide engaging and knowledgeable commentary on every excursion. BEAR WATCHING: Join Jamie's Whaling Station and our friendly, knowledgeable crew as we cruise through the calm, protected inlet waters of Clayoquot Sound, Tofino, and Barkley Sound, Ucluelet, in search of Black Bears! We offer guaranteed sightings from April through October. View these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat from the comfort and safety of our high-speed, Transport-Canada Safety-Certified, 40 foot vessel with panoramic viewing, heated indoor seating, outdoor open back deck and onboard washroom. The bear watching tours in Ucluelet are aboard one of our high-speed 29' zodiacs! In addition to viewing black bears, typically found roaming the shorelines in search of their favorite delicacy -the tiny rock crab- there is an excellent opportunity for encounters with other marine life, including sea lions, sea otters, as well as bald eagles and countless sea birds. As well, the inlet waters of this area offer remarkable scenic landscapes. We also offer complimentary coffee, tea and hot chocolate after each tour.
