Hello, my name is Bjorn Banke.
I was raised on little Beck Island in the Heart of Clayoqout Sound. I have been fishing in Tofino literally since birth, my mother and father would take me out when I was a baby! I have many fond memories of growing up on the island (16acres) with no running water or electricity. My father fished in Tofino with me year round. My family loved to eat fish and shellfish that were so abundant in the sound. It was an amazing way to grow up and now serves me well as a prerequisite for guiding in Clayoquot Sound.
