Enjoy a scenic boat-ride on the calm waters of the Clayoquot Sound inlets to watch the black bears.
Only 30 minutes away, you will feel like you are in a different world, so quiet and peaceful.
On this 2-2.5 hrs trip, you will also get to see other wildlife, such as seals, bald eagles and all kind of other birds. Great for photographers !

The protected beaches in the inlets are home for many black bears in this region.
After the winter hibernation, late spring to October, they will come to shore at low tide to roll rocks over to feed on crab and other shellfish.
We get as close as possible to the bears without disturbing them and you can hear them turning the rocks and eating their food.
It is also possible to see bear cubs, learning from their mother and playing on the beach.

Bear Watching departure times are tide depending.
